Pirate Neko Poets Against Bad Things
Charter
This charter binds us to use the power of the poem to liberate and free from the bonds of boredom any we discover there, providing said poetry does no actual harm. Well that's the business out of the way for now so it's on with the poetry
I'm a pirate
I'm a pirate, a poet, a cat,
I've a ship, Jolly Roger and hat,
With my literate crew,
And some limericks true,
We sail west spreading verse just like that.
I've a ship, Jolly Roger and hat,
With my literate crew,
And some limericks true,
We sail west spreading verse just like that.
Following on from this brief introduction I invite you to venture further on the fantastic voyage you have undertaken. I became a pirate to sail under clear skies and see foreign lands, oh and the booty.
Starry skies
At night under starry skies I envisage voyages,
Not of ships at sea, but of ships in space.
Epic journeys from star to star, engines burning,
Heroic men and women risking all to live.
I imagine other worlds just as green as ours
Fertile, rich, culturally unique, a joy to see.
Perhaps people there dreaming too of some other Nirvana
Or is reaching for heaven just a human trait?
Not of ships at sea, but of ships in space.
Epic journeys from star to star, engines burning,
Heroic men and women risking all to live.
I imagine other worlds just as green as ours
Fertile, rich, culturally unique, a joy to see.
Perhaps people there dreaming too of some other Nirvana
Or is reaching for heaven just a human trait?

Anyway starry skies aside I find myself at the helm of a ship, ahah, now lets see what a pirate poem can do for you.
Random words
I like the seemingly random nature of words,
At least my perception is they were described in the dark.
The clumsy form of some, the delicacy of others
The way they've conquered the globe by Pavlovian memes.
I sense no deceptive intent in these wormholes of meaning
Moving my mind from opinion to opinion as I become aware.
In fact I understand by believing all is true
A person may see much, like a unicorn, a giant, proof.
I expect this jungle of words will in time be tamed,
Providing clear visions, fulfilling every expectation of origins obscure.
Meanwhile my mind lives in the breath these words demand,
The only breath I ever wanted, the one that I am on.
